My first launched AA title for PS4, a long-term development that took a few years and originally started as a PS3 title, Until Dawn is a title I am incredibly proud of and love to play. There were a lot of challenges that we had to conquer as a UI team, the main one being that the game is so immersive that the UI had to be incredibly minimal and yet immediately relatable to the player so they can make split-second decisions while potentially terrified!

Role:

My role on UD was to take over the existing UI as Lead and bring it from prototype to launch. I led a small team of artists and developers in the production of all assets designed in Photoshop, refined and animated in scaleform and integrated into the package. Daily scrum meetings and regular catch ups with relevant management team members to proof ideas and new design changes to the product. A very high-end production requiring the very best to achieve a title everyone is still very happy with.
